Privacy Policy
These extensions run entirely in your browser. We do not operate an application backend that receives your API keys, page content, or usage logs.
1. Data we do not collect on our servers
We do not collect or store your OpenAI / Gemini API key on any server we control. We do not run analytics servers that receive your browsing content.
2. Where data is stored
-
API key, provider, and model settings — saved in
chrome.storage.localon your device only. -
Local usage log (run counts, domains, success/fail,
copy/export events) — saved in
chrome.storage.localon your device only, to help you see how you use the extension.
3. API key handling
Your API key stays in your browser storage. It is sent only from your
browser directly to the AI provider you choose (for example OpenAI at
api.openai.com or Google Gemini). It is never sent to our
servers because we do not operate one.
4. Website / page content
When you run an analysis, the extension reads the active tab in your browser (URL, title, visible text, and related page signals). That content is processed in the extension and, for live AI generation, sent from your browser to the selected AI provider’s API to produce the result. We do not store page content on our service.
Demo mode generates a local sample response and does not call an external AI API.
5. Third-party AI providers
If you use OpenAI, Gemini, or another configured provider, their privacy policies and usage terms apply to the data you send them. API usage fees are billed by that provider to your account.
6. Permissions
The extension uses permissions such as access to the active tab and scripting so it can read page content you choose to analyze, plus storage for local settings and logs.
7. Contact
